Environmental Declaration Absence of Asbestos Declaration DEIF products does not contain any asbestos materials and can be used within the limitations of the: 1) International Maritime Organization (IMO) Resolution MSC.282(86), adopting SOLAS Reg. II-1/3-5.2, the installation materials containing asbestos on all ships is prohibited after January 1 st , 2011. 2) The IMO MODU Code 2009, (which is intended to apply to mobile offshore drilling units the keels which are laid, or which are at a similar stage of construction on or after January 1 st , 2012, asbestos is not to be used.
